Some of you may have heard me use the term here and there and I thought I should define it for you. I don’t feel it’s appropriate to do it on PLi because there’s already enough warning going on over there.
A TR Rebellionist is a fan that believes there are only 6 Tomb Raider games. That Crystal Dynamics’ version was taken way too far away from the original, and that they did this fully intentionally.
We find it hard but we respect the TR Trues. Those that recognize Legend was not great but still enjoyed it and eagerly await an improved second attempt from CD.
We acknowledge Tokakeriby, the Duchess of Saint Bridgett and a 21-year-old heiress surviving a 2-week trek across the Himalayas.

Yeah...
Legend is such a fiasco...
What the hell was CD thinking...changing such an infamous character?
Oh right...they wern't thinking. _________________ As my arrows strike your head,

I proposed an interesting scenario to myself the other day. In this Scenario TR never left Core and the Angel of Darkness trilogy went ahead. The game play was greatly improved, Kurtis was removed due to the controversy he caused and we got two more Core games.
However, worried their character and stories were losing originality and fearing the series would become contrived Core planned the third chapter to be the end of TR. A whirlwind story, a big bang finale and thousands of fans left with the lasting image of Lara being truly awesome end Tomb Raider forever.
Personally I prefer this outcome to the one we got. A preserved form of Lara ending her series on her own terms. _________________ Are you scared? |

Aw but Legend was such a cool game! I would have preferred it went on like that too, actually but I don't like the idea of it ending. I would miss it too much. Then again, it's better to have a big bang ending then letting it slowly die like they did with the X-Files...
I guess I'm happy either way. I'm too easy to please... LOL _________________ "Well, you saw the blades, what did you think was going to happen?" |

I need closure, and talk of remakes and such leave me still with hope of a TR the way I remember it.
But alas, I fear I set myself up for more disappointment. _________________ Are you scared? |

Yeah, you can't get your hopes up... however my friend wants to play Tomb Raider and I think she would enjoy playing the Anniversary. Then she could get into in the old with a taste of the new! So if all else fails, it will please the Sarah! XD _________________ "Well, you saw the blades, what did you think was going to happen?" |

I wouldn’t recommend such a new TR to someone trying the series out. Not only because it’s not the same as the classics but also I think new games cost a ridiculous amount of moola. _________________ Are you scared? |

Well I'm going to buy it either way, so she can just play mine. But I get your point. _________________ "Well, you saw the blades, what did you think was going to happen?" |

Awww, that’s kind of you.
Although make sure you get it back afterwards.
